SBSmanager Roles Overview

When inviting people to access SBSmanager as “SBS Agents”, select from the Roles below to provide an appropriate level of access.  Use the Brands > SBS Agents page to invite or disinvite users.

Role Descriptions

Owner and Integrator This is the top Role with access to all features including API keys. Owners can invite new Agents at the Admin level and lower. Owners can edit/deactivate any Agent.
Admin Removes API keys and Agent management excludes Owners. Admins can invite new Agents to any Roles except Owner or Admin. Admins can edit/deactivate any Agent except Owners.
Support 1st Designed to allow 1st line Technical Support teams to have read-only access to the user’s records and login as the users to their subscribed applications in order assist and reproduce issues.
Support 2nd Designed to allow 2nd line Technical Support teams to have full access to the user’s records and login as the users to their subscribed applications in order assist and reproduce issues. View only access to Brands. Support+ adds subscription add/edit and inviting Support agents.
Management This is a read-only Role for Executives, Product Management and Marketing teams to have safe view access to their brands, reports and end user records.
Finance For your Accounting team to have access to the Billing system, View only Role with ability to edit Billing Information.
Sales This Role is designed for when the partner has a downstream partner/reseller channel that their sales team may be actively inviting into the system.
DIFM Partners that offer a “Do It For Me” service can use this Role to give DIFM Agents a filtered view seeing only DIFM users, hiding all users marked as DIY. DIFM Agents can be an internal or external team.
Notes
  • An SBS Agent can be de-activated to deny access
  • All activity is logged
  • Agents have access to all Sub Brands that exist under their invited Brand
  • You can whitelist IP addresses that should have access
